There is a growing need in Bamfield for many aging and/or solo women for help in maintaining their homes and property in order for them/us to continue to live here. Could we develop some kind of local directory to identify who and what skill sets people have and if they are willing to do odd jobs for people in town? It may be literally small jobs - like I cannot get on a tall ladder to replace the lightbulb in my bedroom ceiling light. Or more major repairs like dock work. Would skilled people be willing to make themselves available in addition to their regular work to do occasional extra work?

Amazing Idea! Would love to be added. I have experience gardening, am a great cook, cleaning, personal home care and odd jobs. Not much of a “Mr.Fix it” but can %1000 be changing lightbulbs and cleaning gutters etc.
